
ABUJA/Nigeria: In a clear demonstration of effective behind-the-scenes legislative influence, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko of Delta North Senatorial District has facilitated federal appointments for several constituents, advancing his pledge to bring national opportunities home.
While most public attention is often drawn to National Assembly floor debates, Senator Nwoko has focused quietly on strategic political engagemen, securing positions for qualified Delta North indigenes in various federal agencies.
Among the new appointees is Henry Akwunna, who has been appointed as a Higher Technical Officer II (Engineering) at the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA). Two others, Nnabuife Peter Moeteke and Elijah A. Onyeshinye, were also appointed as Officer II (Civil) and Officer II (Engineering) at NIWA, respectively.
In the education sector, Enudi Jane Nwakaego and Echefune Chiazor Elise have been offered positions as Assistant Lecturers at the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana. Okolie Mary was appointed a Higher Executive Officer (General Duties) at the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), while Kawih Rufus Ugbolue secured a provisional role at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
Senator Nwoko, known for his advocacy on equity and fair representation, has made job creation through federal inclusion a key focus of his senatorial mandate. Aides close to the senator confirm that more appointments are underway, as he continues to push for the inclusion of Delta North youths and professionals in national institutions.
