ASABA/Nigeria: As the 10th Senate of the National Assembly resumed sitting this week after a month-long recess, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Emmanuel Afam Eboh, has commended Senator Ned Nwoko for what he described as an “extraordinary and unprecedented” representation of the Delta North Senatorial District in the last two years.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja, Chief Eboh said Senator Nwoko’s performance in the National Assembly had surpassed the expectations of his constituents, noting that Delta North had witnessed legislative achievements unmatched in its history since July 2023, when Nwoko assumed office.

According to the APC stalwart, Senator Nwoko has distinguished himself as a credible, visionary, and result-oriented lawmaker who commands respect among his colleagues and recognition across Nigeria. He recalled that the Delta North legislator was recently ranked as the best performing Senator in Nigeria by multiple peer review bodies.

“The entire populace of Delta North is happy with Senator Ned Nwoko for serving them faithfully,” Eboh said. “He has excelled not only in his legislative duties but also in delivering meaningful projects and social interventions to his people.”

Chief Eboh emphasized that Senator Nwoko leads among his colleagues in sponsoring impactful bills and motions that address national issues in critical areas such as the economy, education, electoral reforms, agriculture, security, and measures against oil theft.

He further praised the senator’s bold advocacy for the creation of Anioma State, describing it as the most determined effort toward realizing the long-standing dream of the Anioma people.

“Senator Nwoko has shown uncommon courage in championing the Anioma cause,” Eboh said. “His push for the creation of Anioma State is the boldest since our forefathers initiated the agitation over 70 years ago.”

Eboh also highlighted several development projects facilitated by Senator Nwoko across Delta North, including the construction of access roads, provision of boreholes and solar-powered streetlights, as well as major interventions in education and infrastructure.

He noted that Senator Nwoko recently attracted a ₦2 billion fund for the upgrade of facilities at the Federal College of Education, Asaba, and the University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale. The senator, he added, is also collaborating with the Federal Government on the construction of the ₦30 billion Oko–Aboh–Patani coastal road project.

“Over 2,000 youths and women have benefited from Senator Nwoko’s empowerment initiatives,” Eboh stated. “His impact cuts across all sectors, reflecting a rare passion for development and people-centered representation.”

Chief Eboh concluded that Senator Nwoko’s exemplary performance has raised the standard of legislative service in Delta North and rekindled public confidence in effective representation at the National Assembly.
