
ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has congratulated the Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural) and Public Information, Hon. Charles Aniagwu, on his birthday, commending his accessibility, knowledge and cordial relationship with the media.
The Forum conveyed the felicitations in a congratulatory letter addressed to the Commissioner and signed by its Chairman, Emmanuel Enebeli, and Secretary, Shedrack Onitsha.
DOPF described Aniagwu as an articulate and knowledgeable public servant who understands the importance of effective communication in governance. It noted that his ability to explain government policies and programmes, respond to issues of public interest and engage relevant stakeholders had contributed to greater public understanding of the activities of government.
The Forum particularly acknowledged the Commissioner’s relationship with the media, describing his accessibility and willingness to interact with journalists as important to maintaining constructive engagement between government and the press.
According to DOPF, Aniagwu’s recognition of the growing role of online journalism in public enlightenment and development has further strengthened his relationship with online publishers across the state.
The Forum also expressed appreciation for the Commissioner’s relationship with DOPF, saying his engagements with members had encouraged dialogue, mutual respect and a constructive working relationship between the online media community and the Delta State Government.
DOPF wished Aniagwu continued good health, wisdom and strength, as well as many more years of productive service to Delta State and humanity. The Forum also prayed for continued blessings upon the Commissioner and his family.
