Aboh Women in a Joyful Mood, Awaiting their Share of the Distributed Food Items
ABOH/Nigeria: In its continuous efforts to see that the welfare of persons in Ndokwa East of Delta State is maintained in this time of Easter, with the lockdown in the state, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, which had affected the financial sources of most persons, the CPU Foundation, had continued its food donation to the area with the donation of some food items to the people of Aboh, the administrative headquarter of the Local Government Council.
The Donated Food Items on Arrival at Aboh
This second batch Sponsored by Engr Kingsley Ogwu, CEO, Exulted Eagles Solar energy and Inverter, is a follow up to the items the foundation personally sponsored few days to the beginning of the lockdown in the state.
As a foundation with focus on development of the area, even before the arrival of the virus, the foundation had in different occasion contributed to the social welfare of the people, in sports promotion, academic sponsorship and other life lifting activities.

With the call by the state government, especially Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to assist the less privileged ones in the state, the Chairman of the CPU Foundation, a Civil Engineer, who refers to himself as a “Bricklayer” Engr. Philip Chukwumah Ugbomah, is not relenting in answering the call by the governor, whom he so admire because of the way and manner he is driving to build a STRONGER DELTA.
On the day when the world was celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, April 12, 2020, the CPU Foundation, and its Chairman decided to surprise the people of Aboh with some food items, to cushion the effect of the lockdown, and for the people to celebrate the Easter as if there is no lockdown or coronavirus pandemic, by the distribution of food items such as bags of rice, 2 cows, cartons of indomie, and cash support to residents in Aboh, Ndokwa East local government area of Delta State.

The gesture which is aimed at the most vulnerable within the Aboh community, according to Engr Ugbomah, is to cushion the economic effects of the stay-at-home directive.
He explained that the gesture was to further encourage people to stay at home to curtail the spread of the disease, and also for the Easter celebration.
