ASABA/Nigeria: Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has described the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, as a pillar of support and a dependable partner in advancing the work of the legislature.
Guwor made this known in a goodwill message to Akpowowo on his 54th birthday, marked on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, the Speaker extended warm felicitations and heartfelt wishes to the deputy speaker, praising his passion for service and commitment to legislative excellence.
According to Guwor, Akpowowo’s dedication has remained a key factor in the successes recorded by the 8th Assembly, noting that his cooperation and support have strengthened legislative output and institutional harmony in the House.
The Speaker also commended the deputy speaker for his quality representation of the people of Ethiope East and his contributions to the development of Delta State.
“Today, I join the family, friends and well-wishers of my esteemed Deputy, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, in celebrating his 54th birthday,” Guwor said.
“On this special day, I extend my warmest congratulations and heartfelt wishes to him and commend his efforts in the state’s legislative journey.
