Former Delta State lawmaker and Chairman of the Delta State Security Trust Fund, Hon. Daniel Mayuku

ASABA/Nigeria: The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has acknowledged the legislative contributions of former member of the Assembly, Hon. Daniel Mayuku, as he marks his 60th birthday.

Guwor, who represents Warri South-West Constituency, succeeded Mayuku in the Assembly and said the former lawmaker’s experience and record in the legislature had remained a useful reference for him and other members.

The Speaker’s position was contained in a birthday message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, in which he recalled Mayuku’s four-term representation of the constituency.

According to Guwor, Mayuku’s time in the Assembly was marked by participation in lawmaking and issues relating to governance and development in Delta State.

Mayuku later served in the state government, where he continued his involvement in public administration, adding another dimension to his years of public service.

Guwor said Mayuku’s career offered an example of how legislative experience could be applied to wider public responsibilities, particularly in the service of constituents and the state.

He joined Mayuku’s family, friends, political associates and residents of Warri South-West in marking the milestone.

“On behalf of my family, the leadership and entire membership of the Delta State House of Assembly, I warmly congratulate you, Hon. Daniel Mayuku, on your 60th birthday anniversary,” Guwor said.

The Speaker wished Mayuku good health, peace and fulfilment in the years ahead and prayed that he would continue to contribute to the development of Delta State and Nigeria.
