ABUJA/Nigeria: The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, has lauded the Zamarr Institute for its outstanding commitment to advancing care and awareness for individuals on the autism spectrum, describing the organisation’s efforts as both impactful and commendable.
The senator gave the commendation during a recent meeting with a delegation from the institute led by its Chief Executive Officer, Oluronke Katagum, where discussions focused on the organisation’s ongoing initiatives and opportunities for collaboration, including possible legislative support.
According to sources at the meeting, attention was drawn to the institute’s forthcoming fundraising dinner aimed at expanding access to essential services and sustaining programmes designed for children with special needs. The initiative, it was noted, aligns with the institute’s broader mission to bridge existing gaps in autism care and support across Nigeria.
Dafinone observed that the Zamarr Institute has continued to play a significant role in raising awareness about autism while providing specialised care and promoting inclusive opportunities for affected individuals.
