
EFFURUN/Nigeria: Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Community Development, Dr. Patrick Ighomrore, has congratulated Chief Solomon Arenyeka on his emergence as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State following the successful conduct of the party’s State Congress.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Dr. Ighomrore also extended his felicitations to members of the newly elected State Executive Committee, describing their emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party leaders and faithful across the state.
He noted that the peaceful and successful conduct of the congress demonstrated the unity and growing strength of the APC in Delta State, adding that the party was gradually consolidating its structure ahead of future political engagements.
Dr. Ighomrore expressed confidence in the leadership capacity of Chief Arenyeka, stating that his wealth of experience, commitment and dedication to the party would further strengthen the APC and reposition it for greater achievements in the state.
According to him, the new state leadership of the party has the responsibility of fostering unity, promoting inclusiveness and ensuring that the aspirations of party members are well represented in the affairs of the APC.
He urged party members across Delta State to rally behind the new leadership to sustain the momentum of progress within the party, while wishing Chief Arenyeka and his executive a successful tenure as they work towards strengthening the APC and advancing its ideals in the state.
